The Women Entrepreneurship Idea Competition and Exhibition was organized by CENTIN on May 19, 2016, in collaboration with WCCI and the SBE Department of Marketing. The competition was exclusively held for female students of UMT, promoting women-led innovation and entrepreneurship. The event provided a platform for participants to present creative and sustainable business ideas. A distinguished panel of judges evaluated the projects with great professionalism. The judging panel included Ms. Ayesha Hamid, CEO of American International School of Academics.
Other esteemed judges were Ms. Irum, President of WCCI, and Ms. Falahat, Marketing Head of WCCI. Ms. Kiran Zafar secured 1st position with her innovative idea “From Trash to Paper”, winning Rs. 15,000. Ms. Mehak won 2nd prize for her idea “Reader’s Inn”, receiving Rs. 10,000. Ms. Ghaddah Farrukh achieved 3rd position with her idea “The Art of Recycling”, winning Rs. 5,000. The event successfully encouraged female entrepreneurship, creativity, and sustainable thinking at UMT.
