After being a part of CENTIN’s family, my struggle as a young Entrepreneur became half. I groomed well and started penetrating the market on a larger scale.


The Centre for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CENTIN) is a great initiative of University of Management and Technology (UMT). With the growing, dynamic and vibrant startup ecosystem of Pakistan.


CENTIN has been a constant support in building my first venture as a student which led me to establishing a business on a large scale. On-time and rational mentoring from the field experts is second to none.


CENTIN helped a lot and encouraged me to launch “Learn Tasbeeh” a mobile app worldwide. Learn Tasbeeh has more than nine thousand downloads Now


It is a proud moment for CENTIN as one of its incubatees, Mr. Ali Ayaz—a Software Engineering student at UMT and Founder & CEO of TapInsta—has been featured in Pakistan’s leading technology blog, TechJuice, in its “25 Under 25” list of the most inspiring Pakistanis. TapInsta, a smartphone-based advertising network, was initially incubated at Plan9 and is currently part of PlanX.


Warq-Al-Qadeem is a start-up whose foundation was laid in 2017 inspired by the struggle of our student Miss Kiran Zafar. She came up with the idea of biodegradable paper that was made from waste tetra pack and other waste material. Mr Salman Bhutta & Ayesha Amjad are the co-founder of Warq-al-Qadeem.


Mr. Ahmed Amim Malik, Founder & CEO of Pakisaman.com, is a student of the University of Management and Technology. Pakisaman.com is an online marketplace offering unique everyday products along with a wide range of services, including web and app development, advertising and printing, repairs, event management, home services, travel solutions, consultancy, and real estate.


CENTIN incubatees Mr. Junaid Shah and Mr. Abdul Mateen have launched a Sports Hybrid Electric Bicycle following the success of Pakistan’s first solar-powered plane ShamsOne.
The bike features a lightweight aluminum body, self-charging system, 60 km range, 50 km/h speed, multi-gear modes, and smart lighting with mobile charging support.
