CENTIN/Futurizm successfully organized a free seminar entitled “Learn and Earn Through eBay & Etsy”, in collaboration with Empowers (ebay Training & Business Organization) on Tuesday, 22 March, 2022 from 3pm to 6pm at 1C-17 hall, UMT main campus, C-II Johar town, Lahore. This seminar aimed to equip youth with the knowledge regarding global e-commerce marketplaces, and strategies necessary to earn dollars through these emerging marketplaces.

Mr. Qasim Sana Ramay, who is the Founder and CEO of Empowerers and Co-Founder, XATMAX UK, was the speaker of this exciting seminar. He discussed with examples the need and importance of establishing e-commerce based businesses these days and presented a road-map to start an e-commerce journey for the students during their studies. He also discussed the leading global e-commerce marketplaces of the world with special emphasis on ebay and Etsy. Moreover, he also shared a few potential products from the Pakistani market which has huge potential and demand in global markets. It was an interactive session, and the speaker precisely answered all the queries of participants during his talk.

Mr. Muhammad Yasir Amjad (Director, CENTIN) thanked Mr. Qasim and his team with concluding remarks of the event. He encouraged the students to start their entrepreneurial journey through these leading market places. Dr. Ijaz Yusuf (Assistant Professor, HSM, UMT) also graced this event with his presence and offered a souvenir as a token of appreciation to the honorable guest. The event ended on a note of gratitude.
