1. Startup Division Futurizm
The St artup Division offers unique tools to support the early development stages of entrepreneurial initiatives. These tools assist entrepreneurs and startup companies in developing their innovative and technological concepts at the pre-seed or initial R&D stages, in order to reach a significant fundable milestone.

i. Incubator Incentive Program
This program is also known as Business Incubation Center which is designed for entrepreneurs interested in establishing a startup company based on an innovative technological concept and provide them with technological, business, legal and administrative support. 2. Corporate Innovation Center
i. CEOs’ Meetups
Renowned CEOs will be interviewed and qualitative data will be collected regarding dynamics of entrepreneurship including their early challenges and resolution. The data will be shared with Case Study Center to develop case studies for inclusion in curriculum of UMT degree programs. The interviews will also be recorded for social media and YouTube channel of UMT. The CEOs will also be invited to share insights of the industry with students and emerging entrepreneurs.

i. Social Entrepreneurship
Private firms, public organizations and community groups are becoming aware of their responsibility and role in solving social problems that have not been addressed by conventional means. The Societal Challenges Division encourages R&D of assistive technologies for the disadvantaged sector of Pakistan and contributes to their quality of life while easing their integration into society, the community and the labor market. The program aims to encourage and assist entrepreneurs seeking to meet the challenges and needs of the poor sector with innovative technological solutions.
4. Entrepreneurial Training & Development
i. Entrepreneurial Education
The Entrepreneurial Training and Development Division works for the promotion of Entrepreneurial Education. The designing & execution of compulsory subject on “Entrepreneurship” and other entrepreneurship related short courses and diplomas come under the domain of this division. These short courses and diplomas would be focusing on enhancing different technical and practical skills of the potential future entrepreneurs, and it would be an essential part in making this center self-sustainable.
ii. Entrepreneurial Training and Development
Entrepreneurship development is the process of improving entrepreneurial skills. Through training programs, such as entrepreneurship courses and online classes, one can learn about various requirements to become successful as an entrepreneur including conducting opportunity analysis, developing a business plan, starting a small business, acquiring financing to start the company, and scaling the business. An entrepreneur should have a fundamental understanding of business skills such as accounting and finance, marketing, and strategy. The training and development division assists the potential entrepreneurs by offering basic and advanced level of entrepreneurship courses. A wide range of short but specialized courses including; Finance and Accounting, Marketing, Economics, Management, Operations, Law, Public Speaking, Business Plan Development, Feasibility Analysis, Financial/Revenue model, Digital Marketing etc. are offered.
iii. Social Entrepreneurship
The course is offered to the potential entrepreneurs intended to make a difference in the community. The audience in this course will gain knowledge about social challenges and their possible resolutions. The core areas of the course include: social value proposition and identifying a social business opportunity, creating a social business model, the role of social innovation in envisioning an innovative society, understanding importance of social entrepreneurship, and funding social ventures.
iv. Women Entrepreneurship
The program addresses the specific needs, required resources and possible business ventures for women in urban and rural areas. The program enlightens the access to capital and responsible lending, mentorship, networking, healthcare and wealth building.
v. Entrepreneurship for Special People
The course highlights the importance of teaching entrepreneurship to special people and devising an employment strategy that can lead to economic self-sufficiency for people with disabilities. Self-employment provides people with disabilities and their families with the potential to create and manage businesses in which they function as the employer or boss, rather than merely being an employee.
5. National & Int. Collaborations
i. Network and Partnership
The International Collaboration Division serves as a bridge between economies and business cultures. Through mutual agreements of exchanging practices and services, R&D initiatives, and jointly held events (seminars/ conferences/ workshops/ business competitions), this division will connect companies, investors, research institutes, and international business incubation centers. It will not only help to overcome global challenges but also strengthen ecosystem worldwide.
ii. Technological Innovation Labs Incentive Program
The program brings together students, faculty, and young professionals to engage in problem identification and solution discovery through collaborative problem solving and out-of-the-box thinking. The support is provided via innovation labs covering various sectors and operated by leading corporations and institutions.
iii. Foreign Investment Program
The program aims to address legal and administrative needs of foreign entrepreneurs coming to Pakistan for their business ventures, specifically in China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
iv. Garage Division
The Garage Division brings together the renowned companies of specific sector with relevant entrepreneurial projects in customized cells of the incubation center. These cells are named after the sponsoring firm. For instance, Facebook Garage, Amazon (AWS) Garage, Adidas Garage etc. will work closely with shortlisted entrepreneurs and facilitate them with relevant areas expertise.
v. Connectivity with Universities
The National & International Collaboration Division aims to connect academia and other management departments of the universities to encourage respective faculty and staff to participate their role in the ecosystem by promoting innovation individually and/or collectively. The transformation of FYPs into business ventures is also an important function of this domain. This will help to utilize the university’s human resources in an optimal way and further help to promote Entrepreneurial culture within the university.
