Mr. Farukh Amil, Chairman of the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO), along with his team, including Mr. Anjum Bokhari, Deputy Director, and Ms. Shakra Khurshid, Senior Examiner of Patents, visited Futurizm on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. The worthy D.G UMT, Mr. Abid H.K Shirwani, Dean HSM, Dr. Naveed Yazdani, and faculty/staff members from SST, HSM & ORIC were also part of this delegation.
Mr. Muhammad Farooq Anwar, Deputy Manager Operations at CENTIN welcomed the delegation to Futurizm. He briefed them about Futurizm and its incubated startups. Mr. Farukh met all the startups and emphasized the significance of perseverance and urged them to remain steadfast in their pursuits, assuring them that their efforts were indeed valuable and worthy of recognition. Additionally, he highlighted the importance of patenting their unique ideas and introduced Ms. Shakra Khurshid as a resource to support them in this process.
Mr. Farukh expressed admiration for the initiatives and efforts of UMT in promoting an entrepreneurial culture. He also engaged in interactive discussions with the incubated startups, inquiring about their ideas and offering words of encouragement.
