CENTIN/Futurizm Organized Workshop on “Introduction to Entrepreneurship”, in Collaboration with Shell Tameer

CENTIN/Futurizm in collaboration with Shell Tameer, organized a very informative workshop on “Introduction to Entrepreneurship” on Thursday, March 16, 2023. The venue for the event was 1C-17 in Central building UMT Main Campus, Lahore. Mr. Imran Azeem (Head of Training & Development at Shell LiveWIRE – Flagship Social Investment Programme of Shell Pakistan Limited) was the guest speaker of this workshop.

The main objective of this event was to motivate the participants to start their entrepreneurial journeys and introduce them to necessary steps to become an entrepreneur. This was a one-day startup development training programme, designed to provide guidance on entrepreneurship and how to transform business ideas into sustainable ventures. This workshop was full of interactive activities with different lessons for participants to learn. Mr. Imran kept the participants engaged in multiple ways, asking questions, giving prizes and testing their knowledge. Mr. Azeem also introduced “Shell Tameer Awards” which is a national startup competition where the potential participants would connect with professional mentors, industry experts, media and chance to win valuable prizes.

At the end, Mr. Muhammad Yasir Amjad (Director, CENTIN, UMT) gave a few tips to the participants on transforming their business ventures into realities and concluded the workshop by presenting a souvenir to Mr. Imran as a token of appreciation. At the end of this session all the participants were awarded with certificates by Shell Tameer.
